Got upgraded to 1st class so was allowed to use this lounge. Seating on the first level was reasonably comfortable and there were great views of the terminal concourse and runway.
Upstairs was quieter with subdued lighting and would have been perfect to catch a nap. The food and drink were plentiful, perhaps too plentiful.......I had to discipline myself to not drink too much wine.

Spent a few hours in the BA Terraces lounge at the weekend, waiting on a flight home. Nice quiet atmosphere and well laid out.
There are three "self-service" refreshment areas, two on the lower floor one upstairs. This mainly consists of sandwiches, crisps and cakes, and fridges full of beer, wine and soft drinks. Also coffee/espresso/hot chocolate machines.
Not the best lounge I've ever visited although there isn't really anything wrong with it, just doesn't feel as special as some others.

Spent two relaxing hours in BA Terraces away from the madding crowd. Having never been to this lounge before I was amazed at its size. It's must be at least as big as Gate 5 itself.
Food and drinks were laid on in various areas, all self serve and constantly replenished. There was an internet area just behind the entrance and a smoking room at the far end of the ground floor.
I also noticed a sleeping area in the upstairs section, although never got the chance to try it out!
I was almost hoping our flight would be delayed, it was just so comfortable.

I've only ever been to 1 airport lounge before this and to be honest this one was much better. It was way bigger than I expected and had several different sections to it. There was plenty of free food and drink and a few cakes as well. There was a variety of seats and if you were lucky you could get on the loungers next to the windows. They did announce our flights but there was flight screens just to make sure. The food and drink went quickly but it was always prompty refilled which was nice. I think I did slightly over do it with the cakes though....
